Website Content is King

Graham Buchanan - Monday, August 16, 2010

When it comes to websites, content is king. It’s a mantra that is worth remembering no matter how much search engine optimisation or social media hype we hear. A website with no worthwhile content is always going to be a case of the “Emperor’s New Website”. It will neither appeal to the search engines nor the human visitors. more...

Social Media - The Facts (Part II)

Graham Buchanan - Friday, July 30, 2010

In Part I we looked at the buzz around Social Media. In Part II we look at the latest and most talked about addition to the social media phenomenon - Twitter.

Twitter enables individuals and companies to update their friends, clients and contacts about their activities with real-time 140 character entries through their computer or mobile device. Whilst many of these entries are of limited interest, companies are beginning to exploit the service as a sales and marketing tool. Twitter is being used to carry out customer research, gather information and advice, and respond to customer queries, promote special offers, recruit employees and much more.
